Collaborate with Directors to define gameplay pillars that best realize the game vision.
Collaborate with other domain Leads to develop concrete, actionable solutions for challenges presented by the development process.
Lead a team of designers, providing mentoring and feedback.
Collaborate with other teams to develop key foundational systems.
Provide feedback on overall gameplay, combat, systems, story, and level design.
🚀 Responsibilities
• Define gameplay pillars together with Directors
• Develop actionable solutions with other domain Leads
• Lead and mentor a team of designers
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build foundational systems
• Review and improve gameplay, combat, systems, story, and level design
📚 Required Skills
• Experience as Lead Designer or Design Director
• 8+ years of experience in game design (gameplay and/or systems)
• Experience with combat design
• Strong experience managing a design team
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in the Warsaw office
• Experience working on indie/AA projects and understanding their constraints and advantages
• Polish and English at B2 level or above
• Ability to write clear project documentation
• Ability to define technical requirements
• Ability to work within time and project constraints
• Very good communication skills
• Passion for games and active involvement in the industry
