What you will do

• Make impactful technical decisions and solve problems collaboratively.
• Ensure high reliability of low-latency, high-throughput systems for global delivery fees.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team of over 10 professionals.
• Collaborate with Product teams to deliver business-critical services.
• Drive operational excellence using cutting-edge practices.
• Own and ensure visibility, tracking, and alerting for the team's tech metrics and KPIs.

Requirements

• On-site in Barcelona, Spain.
• Engineering background with capability to assess complex technical decisions and devise effective solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in independently leading teams and proactively seeking advancement.
• 2+ years of experience guiding and mentoring Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers.
• Strong foundational knowledge of native mobile app development using Kotlin.
• Solid experience with Android Architecture Patterns, Coroutines Flow, and Modularisation.
• Accountability for high-complexity, high-traffic projects, including large-scale distributed systems and incident management protocols.
