TL;DR

Software Engineer (AI): Building and optimizing customer-facing and internal CX experiences, integrating AI/LLM-powered capabilities into user-facing products with an accent on frontend UI development, API integration, and system scalability. Focus on designing complex conversational interfaces, ensuring product quality and performance, and improving automated and agent-assisted support experiences.

Location: Must be based in India. In-person participation for team and company-wide offsites is required annually.

What you will do

• Build and evolve customer support experiences across web surfaces, including Help Center, chat, and agent-facing tools.
• Deliver end-to-end features from technical design through implementation, testing, launch, and iteration.
• Implement modern, accessible, and performant frontend UI components, such as rich conversational interfaces.
• Integrate AI/LLM-powered capabilities into user-facing products, including streamed responses and retrieval-backed answers.
• Define and integrate service APIs and contracts with partner teams, including events/metrics instrumentation.
• Improve product quality and performance by investigating bottlenecks, reducing latency, and enhancing observability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services, with a strong understanding of micro-services architecture.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.
• Strong technical skills in system design and coding.
• Passion for building an open financial system that unites the world.
• English: B2 required for excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience navigating rapid company growth (e.g., from startup to mid-size).
• Familiarity with GenAI frameworks/tools, Python, GoLang, Docker, Postgres, MongoDB.
• Background in AI/LLM infrastructure.
