What you will do

• Optimize auction and ad retrieval systems to improve relevance and advertiser reach.
• Implement backend APIs and microservices to support high-quality advertiser-facing UI experiences.
• Build and scale reliable services for ad serving, selection, and campaign management.
• Collaborate with ML and data teams to integrate personalized recommendations and AI-assisted decision support.
• Utilize LLMs and generative AI to simplify advertiser workflows and automate complex tasks.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in observability and code quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of relevant professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in a modern language such as Java or Kotlin.
• Proven experience building and maintaining backend APIs, gRPC, and microservices in cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and data flows.
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools and workflows for real-world products.

Nice to have

• Experience with advertising technologies like RTB and auctions.
• Familiarity with Apache Flink or Spark.
• Product-minded approach to building scalable system solutions.
• Experience applying generative AI to internal tools or user experiences.
