Senior Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Sr. Software Engineer (Cybersecurity): Delivering the sensor (lightweight agent) on various container optimized Linux distros with an accent on designing and implementing new features in the sensor to secure cloud workloads. Focus on leveraging eBPF and other technologies to extend the power of the Falcon platform to provide seamless visibility, detection, and prevention for container processes running in orchestration environments like Kubernetes.

Location: Hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site at one of the posted locations in Israel

What you will do

• Create and maintain high-performance Linux system software components and analyze complex software features, building effective test strategies and test designs.
• Ensure systems and components reliability and performance through monitoring, testing, and debugging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensor and cloud solutions and work with product and release management to improve quality and streamline release cycles.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Lead strategic technical initiatives focusing on containers and orchestrators security in both public and private cloud.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working on product features on Linux or Unix in C/C++ with high concurrency and reliability requirements.
• Experience developing production eBPF code for security or networking.
• Experience designing and developing container runtime engines or software that monitors containers.
• Experiences in programming cloud native workload using public cloud platforms and container technologies include AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
• Ability to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team.
