TL;DR

Node.js Tech Lead (Node.js): Designing and building reliable and scalable backend solutions for a SaaS platform in the restaurant industry, with an accent on system design, data modeling, and microservices architecture. Focus on resolving production incidents, scaling systems for enterprise clients, and researching new technologies.

Location: Fully Remote. Working hours are till 8 PM (CET).

What you will do

• Design and build reliable but simple solutions to complex problems at scale.
• Own the code and services you deploy, observe performance, and identify emerging problems.
• Assess and resolve production incidents that arise in the components your team manages.
• Help us scale to the next level of growth and reliability as we onboard new enterprise clients.
• Research and propose new technologies to apply.
• Provide constructive criticism in a way that builds the team's overall strength.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years as a Team/Tech Lead.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, delivery processes, and production support.
• Strong skills in system design and data modeling.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational database performance optimization.
• Strong experience with Node.js / TypeScript and modern stack such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis.
• Solid experience with microservices, distributed messaging systems, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js.
