What you will do

• Develop and enrich backend microservices, from initial research to final implementation.
• Build cloud-based systems using existing hirify.global tools to detect targeted attacks.
• Brainstorm, define, build, and lead collaboratively with members across multiple teams.
• Own your code end-to-end, including planning, development, testing, production rollout, and scale-up.
• Mentor other developers and contribute to improving architecture, user experience, performance, and stability.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or professional experience in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of production-level experience in building, delivering, and maintaining systems at scale.
• Strong understanding of scalability and distributed systems concepts (sharding, partitioning, concurrency).
• Thorough understanding of engineering best practices, appropriate testing paradigms, effective peer code reviews, and resilient architecture.
• Ability to thrive in a test-driven, collaborative, and iterative programming environment.
• Commitment to meeting commitments on time and producing high-quality, unit-tested, and code-reviewed software.

Nice to have

• Existing exposure to Python, Go, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch.
• Prior experience in cybersecurity or intelligence.
