Salary: $200,000 - $287,500

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of hirify.global SQL language development with high ownership and urgency.
• Define and execute roadmap for new SQL language features, including syntax and semantic improvements.
• Enhance developer experience ensuring SQL is powerful, intuitive, and elegant.
• Conduct customer and competitive research to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional teams and communicate strategy to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Represent hirify.global SQL language externally at events and with customers.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States, specifically Menlo Park.
• 7+ years product management experience or relevant engineering experience in SQL or query languages.
• 5+ years experience with data analytics, databases, or distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
• Strong product design skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience with GenAI tools or shipping GenAI-enabled features.

Nice to have

• Experience with language tooling, parsers, compilers, or query planners.
• Familiarity with SQL ecosystems on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Contributions to SQL dialect design or standards.
• Prior experience as a heavy SQL developer or architect.
