What you will do

• Lead efforts in designing, planning, and implementing features and projects to verify hirify.global's security architecture.
• Focus on automation and tooling to increase developer autonomy and detect security policy violations.
• Provide expert leadership and advice on secure architecture, design, and implementation to engineering and security teams.
• Create and scale security products and services that developers will value.
• Secure modern languages and technologies running in a multi-cloud environment.
• Drive security impact across teams through code, automation, and data.

Requirements

• Experience supporting an application or product security program with a clear vision for improvement.
• Expert experience with threat modeling and secure architecture.
• Empathy for the developer experience; provide guidance on how to do things safely.
• Expert knowledge of security testing tools and techniques.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and delivering results.
• Experience reviewing design and implementation of multi-component software systems, especially those reliant on third-party APIs.
• Ability to automate tasks, collect, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Ability to design and write program/design specifications and independently manage projects to completion.
• Fluency in SQL and understanding of databases and their security needs.

Nice to have

• Fluency with Typescript and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and ArgoCD.
