Senior Director, Business Development & Talent Marketing: Driving growth and new business in the DACH region by developing commercial partnerships for athletes and talent, with an accent on building valuable commercial relationships, sourcing and closing deals, and managing CRM systems. Focus on developing lead generation strategies, coordinating pitch processes, and integrating services across business units.

Location: Hybrid in Germany (Dusseldorf, Munich, Hamburg offices) or remote from DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)

What you will do

  • Lead Business Development for hirify.global Live, Brands & Properties, and Athlete Marketing in the DACH markets.
  • Develop leads, secure meetings, and build relationships with senior-level prospective partners.
  • Undertake desk-based research into potential partnership categories and revenue-generating business models.
  • Manage and evolve the CRM system, ensuring accurate records and cross-Business Unit alignment.
  • Develop and implement Business Development strategies for portfolio growth and RFP inclusion.
  • Coordinate pitch documents and processes, and support RFI/RFP responses.
  • Devise structured approaches to present talent opportunities to brand partners and lead strategy sessions.

Requirements

  • Fluency in German and English at business competency and negotiation level is essential.
  • Multi-year sports, music, and entertainment industry experience with a proven track record of building valuable commercial relationships and ability to influence and sell at a senior level.
  • Significant experience in sourcing and closing commercial deals, overseeing transactional processes.
  • Track record in setting up and managing a CRM system.
  • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to transform ideas into compelling sales materials.
  • Financially literate and commercially minded with strong multitasking capabilities.
