TL;DR

Software Product Owner (Medtech): Shaping and delivering the software powering medication management solutions for complex embedded systems in a regulated environment with an accent on acting as the voice of product management, translating business and customer needs, and maintaining a well-prioritized development backlog. Focus on balancing requests, assessing impacts, and ensuring transparency and alignment across teams, managing software release planning, and supporting high-quality documentation.

Location: Hybrid, Helsinki, Finland. Must be eligible to work in Finland and hold valid EU work authorization.

What you will do

  • Act as the voice of product management within the software team, ensuring vision is understood.
  • Translate business and customer needs into clear work items and maintain a prioritized development backlog.
  • Serve as a gatekeeper for incoming work, assessing impacts, and communicating changes to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product management to define roadmap items and prepare specifications.
  • Manage software release planning, including content, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Uphold strong Scrum practices and foster smooth cooperation between stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering or a related field.
  • Experience as a Software Product Owner.
  • Understanding of cloud software development (AWS preferred).
  • Familiarity with Scrum methodologies and agile ways of working.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Fluent English language skills.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of medical device regulations.
  • Finnish language skills.
