Location: Onsite in Prague, Czechia. This role involves working on payment terminals used across the Asia Pacific region.

What you will do

• Write clean, well-documented, and unit-tested code according to Agile Definition of Done.
• Build future-proof, reusable core code libraries to drive efficiency across the Group.
• Drive consistent standards and approaches throughout the team.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, QA engineers, Product Owners, and market-specific teams internationally.
• Participate in creating designs and discussions regarding conceptual approaches to application solutions.
• Develop system parts using Kotlin, Java, and related technologies, focusing on automation testing and stability.

Requirements

• Experienced in development for Android platform using Android Studio.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) techniques.
• Knowledge of Android platform, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines.
• Familiarity with communication technologies (TCP/IP, WiFi, GSM, SLL) and client/server protocols like REST APIs.
• Good English communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Javascript.
• Knowledge of Security, UX, and CI/CD principles.
• Familiarity with EMV and PCI-DSS standards.
