Company

hirify.global is a product company specializing in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) for semiconductor design.

What you will do

  • Architect and develop core distributed infrastructure for a Python-based platform integrating C++ solvers.
  • Design efficient ingestion pipelines and high-performance I/O for multi-TB circuit databases.
  • Implement serialization/deserialization layers between Python and C++ components.
  • Create fault-tolerant job orchestration and workflow for long-running simulations.
  • Manage resources and load balancing across compute clusters with monitoring and observability.
  • Develop scalable visualization and interactive data exploration for multi-dimensional TB-scale simulation results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years building production distributed systems with Python.
  • Deep experience with Dask Distributed or similar frameworks (Spark, Ray, Celery).
  • Strong grasp of distributed computing patterns, data locality, and fault tolerance.
  • Expertise in high-performance I/O (HDF5, Parquet, Arrow, columnar formats) and data partitioning.
  • Experience with Python/C++ interop (pybind11, Cython, ctypes).
  • Experience with large-scale scientific/engineering visualization systems.

Nice to have

  • Background in EDA, VLSI, semiconductor design, or computational engineering.
  • HPC experience with job schedulers (Slurm, PBS, LSF).
  • GPU acceleration knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Go, Plotly, Bokeh, Holoviews, Datashader.
  • Open-source distributed computing contributions.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work on greenfield distributed infrastructure with modern tools.
  • Opportunity to build a scalable foundation for advanced chip design analysis.
  • Benefits include paid vacation, paid holidays, 401(k) plan with employer match, employee stock purchase plan, and medical/dental/vision options.
  • Collaborate with experts in numerical methods and circuit analysis algorithms.
