Build Engineer

TL;DR

Build Engineer: Supporting and implementing high-quality critical applications across hirify.global, assisting in the design, configuration, and refinement of software for clients with an accent on maintaining templates, creating scripts for forms and reports, and generating business rules from client requirements. Focus on managing the lifecycle of project configurations and ensuring quality and functionality through unit testing.

Location: Hybrid working environment from Manchester (City Centre) or London office (Farringdon) – 3 days a week from the Office and 2 from home

What you will do

• Maintain templates and work instructions for detailed specification gathering from clients.
• Work within a squad to deliver configuration for clients within given sprints.
• Import specifications into a system and perform defined unit testing on outputs.
• Create and maintain scripts that generate forms and reports based on designs.
• Create and improve business rules from client requirements.
• Create and review Configuration release documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Applied Science, or equivalent.
• Understanding of software development processes and functional design.
• Ability to work under pressure in a complex business environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work 3 days a week from the Manchester or London office.

Nice to have

• Understanding of healthcare integration and interoperability standards and best practice (HL7, APIs).
