Salary: EUR 3,447–4,923 monthly (for a 40-hour work week)

What you will do

• Onboard new teams to the Event Streaming Platform.
• Build automation tooling, including Python scripts or CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in quarterly innovation sprints.
• Contribute to new event-driven features and platform improvements.
• Help internal teams use real-time data for balance updates and fraud detection.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on the Kafka platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Informatics or System and Network Engineering.
• Basic experience in at least one of: Python, Java, or .NET.
• Understanding of software engineering principles and REST APIs.
• Interest in event streaming technologies; Kafka experience is a plus.
• Must be based in Utrecht, Netherlands for hybrid work.
• You take ownership, show initiative, communicate clearly, and are eager to learn.
