What you will do
- Create, implement, and maintain VFX pipelines, including documentation, process improvements, and optimizations.
- Deliver impressive and engaging visual effects for guns, grenades, monsters, and sci-fi technology, collaborating with the Art Director, Technical Artist, and Animator.
- Establish, manage, and maintain a catalogue of VFX assets for consistent use and re-use.
- Organize and prioritize workflow based on project needs, visual impact, and overall creative direction.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a VFX Artist on game projects is a must.
- Skilled in creating, implementing, and maintaining VFX pipelines that enhance gameplay and ensure performance.
- Ability to create engaging VFX for weapons, monster destruction, and sci-fi technology.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 is preferred; experience with other game engines is required.
- Strong collaboration skills, openness to sharing ideas and feedback.
- Practical and structured approach to VFX, with a good eye for spectacular effects that fit the game's aesthetic.
Nice to have
- Experience with the Niagara VFX system.
- Interests and art style leaning toward realism and science fiction.
