What you will do

• Act as the FICO workstream lead in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, driving solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Lead functional workshops, facilitating decision-making with key stakeholders, and defining end-to-end Finance & Controlling processes.
• Design complex functional solutions in FI and CO, preparing high-quality documentation and ensuring alignment with SAP best practices.
• Coordinate and mentor consultants within the FICO team, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
• Manage integration topics with MM/SD/PP and collaborate with architects on overall solution design.
• Support test planning and execution, data migration activities, cutover strategy, and hypercare stabilization.

Requirements

• At least 7–8 years of experience in SAP FICO, including hands-on configuration and architecture-level solution design.
• Proven track record in leading SAP S/4HANA implementation projects or major workstreams within global rollouts.
• Deep expertise in FI and CO processes (GL, AP, AR, FA, AA, CCA, PCA, COPA, IO, Product Costing, closing activities).
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA innovations such as Universal Journal, Fiori, and Document Splitting.
• Familiarity with ABAP (ability to work with developers and review technical designs).
• Excellent communication skills in English or German (knowledge of both is a strong advantage).

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced Finance components like Central Finance, Group Reporting, FSCM, or DRC.
• SAP certification in Finance or Controlling.
• Experience mentoring juniors or building FICO competency within a team.
