Location: Remote, with in-person participation required throughout the year for offsites. Must be based in India.

Salary: ₹4,187,980—₹4,408,400 INR annually

What you will do

• Shape the next generation of International Payments Risk architecture for hirify.global.
• Articulate a long-term technical direction and vision for platform maintenance and scaling.
• Translate vision into a tangible roadmap by collaborating with engineers, product managers, and leadership.
• Mentor and train team members on design techniques and coding standards.
• Collaborate with Risk Analysts, Banking Ops, and Machine Learning teams to uncover fraud patterns and develop detection models.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills, capable of building reliable backend services and fast, accessible UIs.
• Expertise in languages like Golang (preferred), Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and frameworks like React.
• Experience with databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL), caching systems (Redis), and message queues (Kafka).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven patterns.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.
• Familiarity with product and design lifecycles, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with rapid company growth (startup to mid-size).
• Worked on fullstack teams in the finance space.
• Exposure to or experience building online fraud prevention systems.
