What you will do

• Lead the Data Platform team, overseeing the design, implementation, and scaling of data infrastructure and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Own data modeling and architecture, defining and maintaining the data modeling strategy for analytics, operations, and product workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and champion the Data Platform team, delivering value to partners through data.
• Ensure data quality and observability, maintaining reliability and integrity across all data environments.
• Establish engineering best practices, implementing testing, CI/CD, documentation, and cost optimization within the Data Platform.
• Drive modernization efforts, ensuring performance and reliability, and innovate with AI-driven tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience building distributed data systems.
• 3+ years of Software Engineering or Data Engineering management experience.
• Strong cross-collaboration skills that bridge technical execution with business outcomes.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable data architectures in cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of modern data platforms and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, FiveTran, Airbyte, dbt).
