Salary: $129,000 - $195,000 USD (depending on location)

What you will do

• Design initiatives that reduce fraud across banking and credit products using data, technology, and customer insights.
• Partner with product managers, operations teams, and engineers to build and execute fraud defense strategies.
• Independently solve complex, ambiguous fraud problems by seeking out relevant data and information.
• Own the development, monitoring, and ongoing improvement of fraud defenses.
• Develop and execute fraud strategies that balance risk reduction with a positive customer experience.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress clearly to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience using data to inform decisions.
• 5–7 years of experience building and leading credit and/or banking strategies that delivered measurable results.
• Hands-on experience using SQL and at least one statistical or programming language such as R or Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience working on banking or payments fraud problems is a plus.
