What you will do
- Translate complex business objectives into clear, actionable solutions, identifying problems proactively and guiding teams end-to-end.
- Drive user-centricity by developing holistic design strategies grounded in quantitative and qualitative insights and partnering with product managers.
- Embed systems thinking by leveraging deep expertise in design system principles, AI integration, and industry standards to evolve and scale design systems.
- Provide mentorship and growth paths for team members, fostering a high-performing culture, overseeing project delivery, and managing workload efficiently.
Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience in a people management role on a Design team.
- Foundational design-related education (Bachelor of Design, Visual Arts, Architecture, Industrial Design, or Communication).
- Applied experience designing financial services and/or payments experiences in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with product, design, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Google Suite, Miro, Lovable, Cursor.
- Experience with Agile design sprint methodologies, tools, and processes, including Jira.
