Senior Software Engineer (.NET/C#)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Own end-to-end technical delivery of retention initiatives from design to monitoring.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend solutions that impact churn and revenue retention.
• Lead technical execution of experiments (feature flags, A/B tests), ensuring reliable rollout, measurement, and rollback.
• Implement and maintain observability, instrumentation, and data pipelines to track retention-related metrics.
• Ensure high engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and operational best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with strong backend exposure.
• Deep hands-on experience in .NET, C#.
• Solid grounding in API/Service design and security.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure (Azure or GCP is a plus).
• Ability to lead system design discussions and influence architectural directions.
• Work hybrid from Lisbon, Portugal (minimum of 2-3 days a week from the office).

Nice to have

• Experience building software in finance-related domains.
• Previous experience working in Growth, Retention, or Experimentation-focused teams.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js.
