TL;DR

HR Manager (HR Operations): Maintaining team productivity by managing HR operations and administration, focusing on Serbian labor law compliance, payroll, and benefits. Focus on developing HR policies, vendor management, and supporting global HR projects.

Location: Hybrid in Belgrade, Serbia (2 days in-office, 3 days remote). Remote work is possible in locations without company offices.

What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations in Serbia, ensuring full compliance with Serbian legislation.
  • Handle HR documentation, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Manage vendors (payroll, immigration, insurance broker) and liaise with suppliers for purchases.
  • Support global HR projects and processes (T&D, HR brand, KPIs, Performance management).
  • Administer HR records, including taking signatures and filing documents.
  • Provide on-site employee support for onboarding/off-boarding and office/travel administration.

Requirements

  • 5-6 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Proven track record in managing external payroll providers and complex HR reporting.
  • Excellent Serbian labor law knowledge; experience in other jurisdictions is a great advantage.
  • Ability to develop and refine HR policies that balance legal requirements with a high-performance culture.
  • Analytical mindset, accuracy, and multitasking ability.
  • Strong speaking and written English and German.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing recruitment processes for R&D (technical, engineering, and product) and non-R&D roles.
  • Prior experience working as an HR Business Partner.
