Salary: $170,000 - $185,000 (NYC-based applicants)

What you will do

• Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering peers on software implementation.
• Participate in discovery and intake for new initiatives.
• Develop rapid software prototypes for proof-of-concept validation.
• Develop complex software systems using modern frameworks and patterns.
• Participate in ongoing refinement of software engineering patterns and practices.
• Offer guidance and support to engineering peers through code reviews and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements

• 8+ years hands-on experience in implementing moderate-to-large software systems.
• Deep knowledge of client/server languages including Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and web SPA frameworks (React, Vue, Angular), and server frameworks (FastAPI, Node.js, Nest.js, Express).
• Experience with various API/IDL service contract models (Swagger/OpenAPI) and data access/API patterns (RESTful, gRPC).
• Proven experience in designing/developing systems with compliance/regulatory obligations (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC, ISO, FDA).
• Familiarity with cloud-based platform hosting, IaC, CI/CD, and container orchestration tools (K8S, Docker).
