What you will do
- Conceptualize, prototype, and develop high-quality visual effects for dynamic environments and objects.
- Optimize visual effects within the technical limits of the project.
- Develop high-quality materials within UE4 for artists, level designers, and programmers.
- Work with different teams to create balanced solutions for technical and aesthetic issues.
Requirements
- Basic art knowledge (composition, color, 3D modeling).
- Proficiency with 3DS Max or Maya, Blender, Adobe Photoshop, and After Effects.
- Knowledge of particle systems and fluid dynamics.
- Basic understanding of animation principles.
- Basic notions of programming logic.
- Willingness to learn Blueprints, Cascade, and Material Editor in UE4.
- Ability to research, experiment, learn, and find solutions independently.
Nice to have
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4.
- Experience with Houdini.
- Development of scripts/tools.
Hiring process
- Submit a portfolio/reel demonstrating development of visual effects with particles/fluids and textured 3D pieces or renders of 3D elements.
