What you will do

• Develop and nurture the community across Discord, Reddit, and social channels, creating welcoming spaces for gamers.
• Manage daily communication with the community, including questions, feedback, and concerns, while overseeing moderators.
• Publish announcements, roadmap updates, newsletters, blog posts, and other engaging content.
• Identify and manage community crises as they arise.
• Advocate for the community by representing their questions and concerns internally.
• Manage community programs, events, and contests to drive engagement and growth.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Community Manager managing online Discord communities.
• Daily active user of Discord.
• PC gamer with experience in relevant games.
• Native-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong editing and writing skills with solid storytelling abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, positive attitude.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with capture apps.
• Experience running events, hackathons, or community programs.
