Senior Automation Test Engineer (Fintech): Designing and developing robust test automation solutions for a financial project focused on cross-border payments and SWIFT-based integrations with an accent on ISO 20022, SEPA, and SWIFT messaging standards. Focus on root cause analysis, estimating test efforts across complex, multi-technology systems, and ensuring high quality, reliability, and compliance of critical payment processes.

Location: elastic hybrid from Gdańsk (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Salary: 900–1100 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and testing architecture.
• Plan and coordinate test automation activities across projects.
• Perform test analysis and design effective test cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Implement and execute automated and manual test scenarios.
• Analyze test results and perform root cause analysis of defects.
• Communicate testing status, risks, and results to stakeholders and support decision-making.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Python and Robot Framework.
• Strong experience with test automation and test management tools.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles (ISTQB Foundation Level).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Jenkins.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, distributed environment and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in payments, banking, or financial services domain.
