What you will do

• Contribute to system design and code, perform reviews, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.
• Build, lead, and develop a cross-functional team of software and systems engineers using agile delivery practices.
• Drive the research, design, and delivery of inventory and compute platform tooling.
• Own and support design reviews within the team and across the wider engineering organization.
• Own the roadmap and be accountable for delivery, reliability, and operational outcomes.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence, engineering quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, leading and developing engineers.
• Strong hands-on coding experience in Golang.
• Experience building or supporting platform tooling for large-scale compute or infrastructure environments, including Kubernetes, OpenStack, virtual machines, and containers.
• Proven experience with platform stability, resilience, and observability.
• Strong focus on testing, quality, and delivery with experience in modern CI/CD environments.
• Proficiency in English for professional communication.

Nice to have

• Experience designing or building asset and inventory management systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management and automation tools like Ansible and/or AWX.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols in large-scale infrastructure environments.
• Experience integrating Generative AI capabilities into platforms.
