Location: Remote, MUST LIVE IN U.S., with options for in-person work in New York City or San Francisco Bay Area.

What you will do

• Build out mobile and web apps, laying foundations for a large-scale government and social impact product and influencing the stack direction.
• Rapidly build and test new features, including new communication methods and integrated database access, and new systems like domestic violence frameworks.
• Help scale secure systems towards stateRAMP and fedRAMP compliance.
• Generate data-driven insights and integrate with current government databases.
• Manage Stanford SWE interns to streamline efficiency and productivity, developing leadership skills.
• Work closely with designers to optimize user experience and build UI components.

Requirements

• Highly skilled in React/React Native, iOS/Android app development.
• Experience working with AWS-related services.
• Have a startup background or love bringing products from concept to reality (the 0 → 1 phase).
• Experience writing production code on shipped full-stack apps.
• Experience working with communication platforms.
• Experience with building no-SQL and SQL database schemas.

Nice to have

• Extensive experience in security engineering + compliance (SOC2, HIPAA, CJIS, StateRamp etc.).
• Experience at a govtech startup.
• Design experience.
