Director, People Partner

TL;DR

Director, People Partner: Acting as a strategic advisor to leadership on all people-related matters, including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and compensation. Focus on developing and implementing people strategies aligned with business objectives, managing high-profile employee relations cases, and fostering a high-performing HR team.

Location: Hybrid in London, United Kingdom. Office attendance is required around four days a week. Must be based in the UK and have the right to work in this location.

What you will do

• Serve as a strategic business partner to leadership, developing and implementing people strategies.
• Provide expert advice on organizational design, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.
• Lead and mentor a small team of People Partners, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Implement talent management programs, including succession planning and leadership development.
• Provide guidance on employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and manage high-profile cases.
• Collaborate with other People functions and Centres of Value across the organization.

Requirements

• Proven track record in a senior HRBP role, developing people strategies and advising senior leadership.
• In-depth experience managing high-profile employee relations cases and conducting investigations.
• Success in implementing comprehensive talent programs and leading organizational development/change management initiatives.
• Exceptional ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including C-suite.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing HR professionals.
• Strong analytical skills to leverage HR data for strategic decisions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.

Nice to have

• Previous experience and affinity with Media, IT, Data, and/or Technology companies.
