What you will do

• Oversee and provide direction to a team of QA engineers to deliver high-quality software products.
• Execute manual and automated testing, and produce reliable assessments of software readiness.
• Participate in design and testing sessions across teams, and promote quality standards and processes.
• Implement automated testing solutions for operational efficiencies.
• Manage collaboration among functions to ensure quality goals are achieved and bottlenecks are removed.
• Support the long-term career development of direct reports and help them build their skills in software testing.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, and leading QA engineers.
• Thorough understanding of software testing methodologies, QA tools, and Agile principles.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
• Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in test automation using Python, Java, Selenium, PERL, C#, etc.
• Good understanding of Linux administration and DevOps principles.
• Good understanding of the full web stack.
• Experience in API testing using Postman.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
• Knowledge and/or experience in Neo4j graph database, Cypher query language, RabbitMQ message broker, Kafka message broker, or Kubernetes commands.
