Location: Remote, Canada. Candidates must be currently located and eligible to work in Canada. Occasional in-person meetings are possible in Kitchener, Ontario.
Salary: $165,000–$205,000 CAD

What you will do
- Guide and coach a high-performing software development team focused on the AI Video Agent.
- Contribute to evolving engineering practices, including AI-assisted development.
- Stay informed about the AI landscape to guide architectural and tooling decisions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers on technical and product strategy.
- Foster team growth and development, ensuring individual ownership and impact.
- Ensure delivery of team projects and outcomes to achieve business goals.
Requirements
- 5-7 years experience leading a development team in a cross-functional environment.
- 10+ years of functional experience in Software Development; SaaS experience is a plus.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI concepts relevant to SaaS product development (agents, LLMs, prompt design, model evaluation tradeoffs).
- Proven track record of delivering great solutions to complex problems while balancing technical and product concerns.
- Experience effectively hiring, onboarding, and managing a team of developers.
- Ability to invest in people's growth, provide direct feedback, and create development opportunities.
