DevSecOps Team Lead

DevSecOps Team Lead: Lead and scale the DevSecOps function by embedding security into CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and Kubernetes environments with an accent on defining strategy and building the team. Focus on securing infrastructure-as-code, driving cloud security across AWS and GCP, and implementing security monitoring solutions.

Location: Office presence is required in one of our European offices: Belgrade (Serbia), Lisbon (Portugal), Sofia (Bulgaria), Valencia (Spain), or Warsaw (Poland). Relocation package available for international candidates.

What you will do

• Define DevSecOps strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing DevSecOps team.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning, secrets scanning).
• Own security for Kubernetes (EKS), Istio, and Service Mesh environments.
• Implement and maintain policy-as-code using OPA and admission controllers.
• Drive cloud security across AWS and GCP environments and partner with DevOps teams.
• Implement SIEM, logging, security monitoring (ELK, Splunk), and oversee secrets management (Vault).

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud Security with leadership or ownership of security initiatives.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines and secure software delivery.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Service Mesh (Istio), and container security.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or similar IaC tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS and/or GCP).
• Experience implementing security scanners (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC) in pipelines.
• Familiarity with OWASP SAMM, SSDLC, and secure development practices.
