Location: Office in Warsaw or Kyiv.

What you will do

• Work with Payment, Marketing, and Ops teams to translate business goals into technical solutions.
• Design and build resilient payment infrastructure using Node.js/NestJS.
• Take ownership of services' lifecycle, including architectural design, deployment, and monitoring in GCP/Kubernetes/Terraform.
• Build reliable data pipelines (BigQuery) to empower analytics.
• Collaborate with the wider Engineering Chapter, sharing knowledge and building the platform together.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience building scalable web backends.
• Expert with Node.js (NestJS preferred) and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and asynchronous architectures.
• Hands-on DevOps experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes/GCP.
• Revenue-driven mindset with an understanding of business reliability.
• Proactive communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using AI in your workflow.

Nice to have

• Experience in FinTech, E-commerce, or High-load projects.
• Deep understanding of Payment Processing (Idempotency, Reconciliation, Fraud prevention).
• Experience with Data Engineering (BigQuery, ETL pipelines).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Willingness to occasionally touch Front-end (React) to build internal tools.
