What you will do
- Design and develop delightful and vital software features or services.
- Work with product and engineering leads to achieve vision and customer outcomes.
- Write well-factored and tested code.
- Demonstrate curiosity about technology and how things work.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills with good working knowledge of Java & Spring Boot microservices.
- Good understanding of modern engineering toolsets like Kubernetes and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of Java development best practices and patterns.
- Understanding of how to craft low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
- Experience with quality engineering approaches such as CI/CD, Pair Programming, TDD, and BDD.
- Experience working on any one of the cloud-based tools (Google GCP, MS Azure, Amazon AWS).
Nice to have
- Experience in the Banking domain with BACS, Faster Payments, or Cash and Clearings schemes.
- Exposure to monitoring tools and dashboards for automated monitoring.
