Location: This position is based in our Edinburgh office. It is a hybrid role with some flexibility to work from home, depending on business needs. Candidates must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate to the United Kingdom. Due to export control restrictions, candidates must be able to access technical data without an export license.

What you will do

• Bench test, debug, and characterize embedded on-chip circuitry to ensure functionality and performance.
• Design, develop, and debug silicon validation and characterization board-level hardware.
• Develop automated test framework and regression test suites in Python.
• Work with Validation and Production Test engineering peers to implement best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Systems, and Application Engineers to understand requirements.
• Analyze test results and identify failures/defects using business intelligence tools.

Requirements

• BSc, MSc or MEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• Electrical engineering knowledge in analog, digital, power electronics or audio engineering, including mixed-signal building blocks.
• Experienced in scripting languages, preferably Python, for test automation and data analysis.
• Ability to organize assignments and schedule time to drive deliverables.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical & diagnostic skills.
• Candidates must be able to access technical data without a requirement for an export license.
