TL;DR

IT Associate I (End User Computing): Providing hands-on technical support, device provisioning, and day-to-day IT operations for internal users with an accent on troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Focus on managing and resolving tickets, supporting onboarding/offboarding, and maintaining asset inventory.

Location: On-site – Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

What you will do

  • Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Prepare, configure, and deploy IT equipment and accounts for new hires.
  • Manage and resolve IT tickets within defined SLAs using an ITSM system.
  • Troubleshoot Google Workspace tools and support Microsoft environment migrations.
  • Maintain asset inventory and track equipment.
  • Support onsite users and coordinate with remote sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic to intermediate English proficiency.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Admin basics).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft environments (Windows, O365).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to work on-site full-time in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Jira / Jira Service Management (JSM).
  • Familiarity with JumpCloud.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or other device management tools.
  • Previous internship or help desk experience (1 year).
