What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.
• Build scalable APIs and services supporting modern application architectures.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making.
• Ensure high standards of application security, data protection, and reliability.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and system stability.
• Participate in code reviews and support continuous improvement of development workflows.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience as a Backend or Python Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and modern backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, or similar).
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and scalable backend services.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and system design principles.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud environments and containerized applications.
• Strong English communication skills (B2 level required) and experience working in remote teams.
• Ability to work remotely from Europe or South America.

Nice to have

• Experience working on greenfield projects or new product development.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and performance optimization.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
