What you will do

• Conduct Business Discovery Sessions to understand project requirements.
• Translate existing requirements into desired data marts and reports.
• Prepare data mapping documents for the development of various layers of the data platform.
• Support data engineers, data modelers, QA testers, and Power BI developers during project phases.
• Collaborate with other developers, data analysts, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong data querying and processing skills using SQL, Oracle, Apache Spark or similar language.
• Experience with Data Visualization tools – Power BI, Business Objects, Crystal or similar tool.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing and ETL concepts.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL, Python with SAS/R/Spark as plus.
• Deep understanding of distributed data processing frameworks, particularly Apache Spark.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
