What you will do

• Develop and maintain local compliance policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Lead the review, investigation, and reporting of suspicious transactions, recommending improvements to monitoring frameworks.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on AML/CTF compliance, advising on risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Act as a primary compliance point of contact for Israeli authorities.
• Conduct ongoing compliance training and awareness sessions in Israel and globally.
• Stay updated on evolving Israeli regulatory developments and translate them into actionable initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in compliance roles within payments, fintech, banking, or financial services, including at least 3 years in local compliance or AML roles.
• Demonstrated experience in Israeli compliance frameworks, including AML regulations, data protection laws, and licensing obligations.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hebrew are required.
• Analytical, structured thinker with strong attention to detail.
• Experience working with Israeli regulators, IMPA, and banking partners.

Nice to have

• A legal or regulatory background from the Israeli financial industry is a plus.
• Global experience in compliance or AML roles will be advantageous.
