QA Engineer (Telecom)

What you will do

• Design and document test procedures for next-generation telecom solutions (NG911).
• Utilize SIPp to simulate high-volume call traffic and message flows.
• Identify automation opportunities within the manual testing lifecycle.
• Contribute to building and enhancing Python-based automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with team members and product managers to understand project requirements and testing challenges.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software testing.
• Experience in the telecom domain.
• Knowledge of protocols: SIP, SDP, RTP, HTTP, TLS.
• Ability to write Test Description Documents.
• Experience with Wireshark and tcpdump.
• Basic Python programming skills.
• Basic understanding of networking and experience with virtualization.
• English: Intermediate level (B1) required.

Nice to have

• Experience with TShark and pyShark.
• Experience with SIPp, including XML scenario files.
