What you will do

• Provide strategic leadership and subject-matter expertise in data engineering.
• Work with data modeling (Kimball/3NF as applicable).
• Ensure strong proficiency with orchestration and cloud storage/compute.
• Maintain knowledge with data quality practices.
• Utilize Snowflake/dbt/Spark exposure.
• Leverage BI consumption (Power BI/Tableau).

Requirements

• Experience of 15 years in a similar role or equivalent.
• Strategic leadership (vision, operating model, influence) and recognised subject-matter expertise.
• Advanced experience with SQL
• Hands on with Data modelling (Kimball/3NF as applicable)
• Strong proficiency with orchestration and cloud storage/compute
• Knowledge with data quality practices
• Snowflake/dbt/Spark exposure
• BI consumption (Power BI/Tableau)
• Knowledge of Streaming
• English and German proficiency, at least B2 level
• Availability for remote work in Portugal (requires availability to relocate within Portugal).
