What you will do

  • Lead and coach a team of platform engineers building cloud landing zones, account vending, and governance foundations.
  • Drive compliance by design through preventative controls, automation, and clear developer workflows.
  • Partner with Security, Risk & Compliance, and Platform teams to deliver data-informed governance.
  • Support hirify.global’s Containers Everywhere company goal, including establishing GCP as a first-class environment.
  • Balance operational excellence with long-term platform strategy and scalability.
  • Advocate for governance as an enabler, not a blocker, to innovation.

Requirements

  • Managed infrastructure or platform teams through complex technical challenges.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure governance, ideally across AWS and/or GCP.
  • Experienced in leading teams that operate critical, highly-scaled systems.
  • Comfortable translating complex technical concepts for a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance delivery, reliability, and long-term strategy with confidence.
  • Ability to build trust, psychological safety, and a strong team culture.
