TL;DR

Applied Machine Learning Internship (AI): Creating and optimizing predictive machine learning models and tooling to enhance the detection capabilities of the Falcon platform with an accent on employing ML algorithms to detect different types of attacks. Focus on implementing new algorithms, automating analyses, and visualizing results within the machine learning pipeline.

Location: Remote with flexible working hours. While the internship is based out of Bucharest, Romania, the program offers global intern events.

What you will do

• Work directly with Sr. Applied Machine Learning Engineers to create predictive machine learning models and tooling.
• Implement and experiment with new algorithms and methodologies to help improve machine learning models.
• Automate and visualize analyses, results, and processes in the machine learning pipeline.

Requirements

• 3rd or final year Computer Science student (Master/PhD students also considered).
• Good understanding of basic ML algorithms and techniques and their tradeoffs.
• Experience in writing Python code to pre-process and analyze data.
• Hands-on approach to understanding data and learning new fields.
• Experience with working in a Linux environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with traditional Machine Learning libraries (xgboost, sklearn) and/or deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch).
• Good understanding of basic Machine Learning Techniques (SVM, Logistic Regression).
