Senior Devsecops Engineer

TL;DR

Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Ecommerce): Responsible for securing and maintaining hirify.global's e-commerce platform infrastructure, deployment automation, and production observability with an accent on security automation, monitoring systems, and enabling engineering teams with security tooling. Focus on implementing security automation, maintaining monitoring systems, and enabling engineering teams with security tooling while ensuring high availability.

Location: Remote (South America). Must have full authorization to work in country of residence being in South America.

What you will do

• Implement and maintain security scanning in CI/CD (SAST, dependency, container).
• Harden AWS infrastructure and manage network segmentation.
• Maintain CloudWatch dashboards, configure GuardDuty/Security Hub, and build alerts for DDoS, intrusion, and anomalies.
• Manage AWS resources via Terraform with security-first configurations.
• Maintain zero-downtime CI/CD pipelines with integrated security gates and rollback mechanisms.
• Support compliance requirements (PCI-DSS) and manage evidence collection.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of production operations experience for high-traffic web apps with a focus on security.
• Experience implementing security controls in AWS environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD security integration.
• Experience in database administration (MariaDB/MySQL) and container security (Docker).
• Experience with DDoS mitigation, incident response, and compliance framework.
• Security-first mindset and ability to remain calm under pressure.
