TL;DR

Staff Software Engineer: Integrating and developing a background check product into a comprehensive identity verification solution with an accent on data vendor integrations and microservices architecture. Focus on designing, architecting, and implementing performant, reliable, scalable, and secure software systems.

Location: Hybrid schedule in Santiago, Chile (3 days per week in-office). A relocation stipend may be available for those willing to relocate to a hirify.global hub location (Santiago, Denver, San Francisco, Nashville).

Salary: $66,496,000–$78,230,000 CLP

What you will do

  • Own product development from ideation, design, implementation, to release.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and product managers on designing and architecting new systems.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Deliver performant, reliable, scalable, and secure code.

Requirements

  • Advanced English proficiency (verbal and written).
  • Availability to work a hybrid schedule in Santiago, Chile (3 days per week in-office).
  • 10+ years of industry experience as a software engineer, with significant experience working with Python.
  • Leadership skills and a passion for mentoring more junior engineers.
  • Experience with AWS, microservice architecture, Kubernetes, and designing/implementing REST APIs.
  • Experience with CI/CD and data stores such as Postgres and MongoDB.
