• Lead the technical transformation of the Search AI Platform, shaping its architecture.
• Mentor the cross-functional team of ML engineers, data scientists, SREs, and platform engineers.
• Deliver solutions that drive measurable business and user impact.
• Take ownership for exploring, experimenting, and pushing boundaries in search models.
• Prototype and deploy new search models at scale for millions of users.
• Play a key role in growing OLX’s data science practice and shaping AI application company-wide.

Requirements

• Experience as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer or similar technical leadership role.
• Strong background in building and deploying search-related AI/ML solutions at scale.
• Ability to shape architecture and provide technical guidance.
• Mentorship experience for engineers and data scientists.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping and productionizing ML models.
• Work onsite in Warsaw, Poland.
