Release Manager

What you will do

• Own and manage the end-to-end release process, ensuring timely and high-quality software updates.
• Organize and facilitate Change Approval Board (CAB) calls, including scheduling and mediating discussions.
• Validate tasks for release by confirming alignment with JIRA, developer reviews, and QA validation.
• Coordinate schedules and organize contributors around release timelines.
• Ask pertinent, technical questions to validate readiness and challenge assumptions.
• Maintain release documentation and ensure compliance with established standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical engineering field.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in software development, QA, or related technical roles.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and software quality assurance methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage complex release schedules and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a natural ability to validate, prioritize, and structure tasks.
• Experience with JIRA or similar task management tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in gaming, fintech, or other high-availability software environments.
• Familiarity with automation in release validation.
