Location: Hybrid (8 days/month) in Berlin, Germany. Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office as part of the recruitment process.

What you will do

• Design and optimize AI-powered legal workflows and assistants for authentic legal reasoning.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Machine Learning Engineers to translate legal expertise into structured AI inputs.
• Evaluate customer use cases with Legal Engineering to identify gaps and develop scalable product features.
• Develop and maintain domain-specific knowledge frameworks across key legal areas.
• Create and validate training data, prompts, and evaluation sets for model reliability and legal soundness.
• Review and improve AI outputs for quality, accuracy, and tone to meet professional legal standards.

Requirements

• Strong legal background with a law degree and preferably experience in a top law firm or in-house legal department.
• Good understanding of legal workflows, drafting standards, and professional approaches to complex matters.
• Passion for AI and technology, with curiosity for large language model applications in legal work.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for collaborating with engineering and product teams.
• Strong writing and attention to detail to ensure high standards for AI-generated content.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, experimental environment.
• Proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken).

• Prior experience in legal tech, automation, data modeling, or prompt engineering.
