TL;DR

Strategic Account Manager (Application Security): Driving growth and expanding strategic accounts within Federal DOD (Air Force/Army) and Federal System Integrators with an accent on new business development and value-based selling. Focus on managing complex sales cycles, articulating account vision, and leveraging channel partners to achieve sales goals.

Location: Based in Washington, DC, USA, with required travel primarily within the U.S. and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Salary: OTE $270,000–$310,000

What you will do

  • Own and grow relationships within assigned federal accounts, driving new business and expansion.
  • Manage multiple sales opportunities using a consultative, value-based approach.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and business plans for assigned accounts.
  • Build trusted-partner relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their vision and technology roadmap.
  • Manage and orchestrate complex sales cycles involving diverse business and technical stakeholders.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations to expand account penetration and close deals.

Requirements

  • Proven track record selling Subscription, SaaS, and Cloud solutions to Federal DOD (Air Force/Army) and Federal System Integrators.
  • Strong understanding and application of MEDDIC / MEDDPICC for opportunity qualification.
  • Experience selling SaaS-based security or software security solutions.
  • Demonstrated executive presence, professionalism, and excellent listening and communication skills.
  • A true sales hunter with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
